Dear Brethren :

This will acknowledge receipt of your several statements and conclusions with reference to the unfortunate breach that has come about between your two distinguished Masonic organizations the Supreme Council of Turkey and the Grand Lodge of Turkey.

Having been to Istanbul and having met most of the leading Masons in your country causes me to be greatly disturbed to know that your two great Masonic organizations have reached the point in your discussions and negotiations where further relationships became impossible for the time being. We will consider as final the judgments and decisions you have reached until we hear from your organizations to the contrary.

We fervently hope that the cidcumstances and events that brought about the severance of friendly relations will soon be clarified so that a restoration of Masonic fellowship and brotherhood will be re-established between your two institutions.
